Informational Illustration
The illustration style is heavily inspired by technical diagrams, but simplified and stylized to make it clear and engaging. Minimal usage of color and ornamentation is used to keep the illustrations focused and easy to understand.

Flip Book Format
A large flip book was chosen as the format for the booklet to break down the information into bite-sized chunks and showcase how everything fits together. This felt appropriate for an SLR camera because it is already broken down into three main parts, each with its own unique purpose. While reading the book, the viewer follows the journey of light as it moves from the outside world and into the camera's body. Taking a break at each of the 3 core components to digest its function.

Type Layout
Many careful typography and page layout decisions were made to ensure the book had a natural reading flow and clear hierarchy. All of the headers utilize a typeface unique from the rest of the document in a large size and bold weight. This allows each key section of the booklet to be easily visible, making it simple to parse the document and clearly differentiate each section. The headers are contrasted by a highly legible sans-serif typeface in the body text to create a pleasant visual relationship and easy reading experience. Each section is carefully laid out to create a clear reading flow through the document and accommodate the unique format.
